Unbound Actor Labs

Live 2-4 week workshops for actors who want to build real career assets. 

Unbound Actor Labs are practical, hands-on workshops led live over Zoom. Each Lab is designed to help you create something useful for your acting career — a script, a pitch plan, a production strategy, a profile upgrade, a self-tape setup, or another real-world career asset.

These are not regular events. Labs will only run a few times a year, with limited places, so each participant can get proper guidance and leave with a tangible result. Dates will be announced in the community.

How Labs Work:

  • Live on Zoom
  • Usually 2–4 sessions per lab
  • One session per week
  • Each session is around 3 hours
  • Homework between sessions
  • Limited places per workshop
  • Paid separately from community membership
  • Inner Circle members receive 10% off

Labs will usually range from $199–$499 USD for the whole 2-4 week workshop, depending on the length, format and level of individual feedback included.

Scriptwriting for Actors

How to write scripts and scenes that actually serve you as an actor — not just as a writer.

We'll cover: 

  • Story and Script Structure 
  • How to generate ideas around your goals
  • Finding ideas you can realistically produce yourself
  • Brainstorming, freewriting and idea-starter exercises
  • Creating characters that give you something strong to play
  • Writing Dialogue that feels actable
  • Practical in-class writing exercises

You’ll leave with: a short scene, monologue or micro-short concept designed around your casting.

Produce Your Own Work

How to create your own scenes, short films or low-budget projects as an actor — without waiting for someone else to give you permission.

We'll cover: 

  • Finding or writing a shootable script
  • Choosing ideas that work on a low or no budget
  • Basic budgeting and scheduling
  • Making the most of locations you already have
  • Building a minimum team
  • What equipment you actually need
  • Call sheets and basic production planning
  • Editing and post-production
  • How to get your finished work seen
  • Funding: where to get money, how to save money and where you don't need money

You’ll leave with: a practical production plan for one shootable scene, short film or proof-of-concept, including concept, locations, team needs, schedule, budget and next steps.

Build Your Actor Marketing Machine

How to position yourself more clearly and build the materials, profiles and outreach strategy that support your acting career.

We'ill cover: 

  • Casting type and actor positioning
  • How to narrow your focus without limiting yourself
  • Headshot strategy
  • Spotlight, Actors Access, Casting Networks and actor websites
  • Bios, profiles and online presence
  • Networking, pitching and actor outreach
